This iconic beach brings thousands of tourists at all times of the year, and is likely to be crowded even on a quiet day!

Nevertheless, Manly is a beautiful beach, perfect for all ages and stages of life! You’ll find people running, bike riding and skating along the walkway, swimming, surfing and boogie boarding in the water, or building sandcastles and playing volleyball at the nets on the sand. There’s plenty of great surf spots along the beach, particularly at North Steyne and down to the north end at Queenscliff Beach.

A trip to Manly Beach gives you many options! Make a day of it and catch the Manly Ferry to the city and back! Or take a walk along the Marine Parade boardwalk to Shelley Beach. Do some window shopping along the Corso, grab an ice-cream from Ben & Jerry’s or learn to surf! The possibilities are endless!
