West Head Beach, NSW
WEST HEAD BEACH IS A GORGEOUS STRIP OF SAND
LOCATED IN THE KU-RING-GAI
National Park
YOU'LL LOVE
Quiet and secluded

KEEP IN MIND
Not easily accessible
Big rocks in the water
NEARBY CAFES
Just a short 15 minute walk from West Head, this secluded beach is usually quiet and unpopulated compared to other beaches in the area.
Though there are rocks in the water, there is space to take a dip and cool off in the beautifully calm water.
If you’re up for a bit of a hike, this beach is for you! To access, park your car at West Head (park entry fees apply – $12 all day pass) and follow the signs to begin your walk to West Head Beach. The path consists of mostly stairs and can be muddy so I would recommend wearing enclosed shoes.
If you’re up for it, head back up the steps and take the dirt path heading South to make your way towards Resolute Beach and Great Mackerel Beach.
