Forty Baskets Beach, NSW
THIS SMALL BEACH IS A GREAT SPOT TO PADDLEBOARD,
SNORKEL, KAYAK
or go fishing
Although Forty Baskets is hidden behind beautiful houses in Balgowlah Heights and the entrance is not well signed, this beach is not unpopular.
It is particularly great for families, as the beach is flat, there is a netted swimming enclosure, playground and toilets. This relatively small beach also provides a great spot to paddleboard, snorkel, kayaking or go fishing. There are some shady spots under the trees, and plenty of spots to explore around the rocks.
Access is from Beatty St, Balgowlah Heights. Alternatively, make a quick stop by on your walk from The Spit to Manly.
