Long Reef Beach is situated at the North End of Dee Why Beach, separated by Dee Why Lagoon.

Long Reef has pretty consistent waves and is home to the “long reef bombie” surf break. This offshore reef break can produce waves up to 5m, and are a surfing dream for experienced surfers!

Head towards the north end of Long Reef and you will find a path that takes you to the top of the headland by the Long Reef Golf Course, and all the way back down to Collaroy Beach. It’s an incredibly beautiful spot to watch the sunrise or go for a morning run!
