About this walk...

The Coast Track in Royal National Park is a renowned 26km coastal trail stretching from Bundeena to Otford, typically taking 2 days to complete. This Grade 4 hike offers a diverse landscape, including secluded beaches, dramatic cliffs, and lush bushland. Highlights along the route include Wattamolla Lagoon, Garie Beach, Little Marley Beach, and the iconic Figure Eight Pools. The track provides opportunities for swimming, whale watching (seasonal), and exploring Aboriginal heritage sites. Camping is permitted at North Era Campground, with prior booking required.

The trail is well-maintained and signposted, though some sections may be challenging due to uneven terrain and elevation changes. It's advisable to check for any track closures or alerts before embarking. The Coast Track offers a rewarding experience for those seeking a multi-day adventure immersed in nature's beauty.
