ABOUT THIS BEACH
Situated at the southern end of Botany Bay, Dolls Point is perfect for families, walkers, and anyone keen for a laid-back beach day without the surf. The water here is almost always calm and shallow, making it ideal for little ones or those just after a gentle dip. It's a favourite for swimming, wading, or just floating around while planes cruise overhead on their way to Sydney Airport.
You’ll find BBQs, picnic tables, toilets, and a playground nearby - making it a great spot for a full-day outing. The beach backs onto grassy parklands and is right next to a long, scenic pedestrian and bike path that stretches all the way up the bay. Bring the bikes or scooters and make a day of it - you can walk from Kyeemagh to Sandringham if you're feeling energetic.
There are even a few local cafes within walking distance if you’re after a post-swim coffee or takeaway lunch to enjoy in the park. All in all, Dolls Point is the kind of beach you keep coming back to - easy, open, and surprisingly underrated.
