Greenhills Beach is situated just north of Wanda Beach, on the same strip of sand. Nestled between Cronulla's more bustling beach spots, Greenhills Beach is known for its quieter, wide-open space. This unpatrolled beach is perfect for those looking for some solitude, but be sure you're an experienced swimmer if you’re planning to venture into the water. With dangerous currents, large waves, and a shallow sandbank, it’s best to heed the warnings posted at the entrance and enjoy the beach from the safety of the shore.

Greenhills can be a bit of a trek to get to. The three entrances all lead you over sand dunes, with a 10-minute walk to the beach. While it might take a bit more effort to reach, once you're there, you’ll have plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Dogs are welcome here, but only on-leash while making your way along the track to the beach. Once you're at Greenhills, though, the dog-friendly areas are available before 10am and after 4pm, so you can enjoy a walk with your four-legged companion. Keep in mind that the beach is popular for surfing, but swimming should be reserved for those who are more experienced and comfortable in the surf.
