ABOUT THIS BEACH
Tucked away just south of Cronulla’s main beach, Oak Park Beach is a bit of a local secret with something for everyone. The beach has a rock pool perfect for kids and keen swimmers, and the rocky area at the south end draws surfers chasing a bit more challenge than your average beach break. If you’re not keen on waves, there’s a big grassy park with shady trees, swings, and undercover picnic tables - perfect for families or anyone wanting to kick back with a BBQ or a good book.
The beach is well-equipped with toilets, showers, and BBQs, so it’s easy to spend a full day here without feeling like you’re roughing it. Whether you want to splash around in the calm rock pool, catch some surf, or just relax on the grass and watch the world go by, Oak Park has a chilled-out vibe that makes it a great spot away from the usual crowds.
YOU'LL LOVE
• Rock pool for kids and casual swimmers
• Surfing off the rocky south end (for the adventurous)

KEEP IN MIND
• Surf can get tricky near the rocks - beginners should stick to safer spots

PARKING INFO
Parking is available along Oak Park Parade and nearby streets, but it can fill up quickly on sunny weekends and during school holidays. If you arrive early, you’ll have a better chance of snagging a spot close to the beach.
