Curl Curl to Freshwater

The walk from Curl Curl to Freshwater is about 2.5 kilometres and mostly follows a paved path and boardwalk hugging the coastal headland. Starting at the carpark above the South Curl Curl rockpool, the trail offers sweeping views of the ocean, particularly spectacular when the swell is big! The boardwalk sections make for easy walking and are great for all fitness levels, with just a few gentle stairs along the way.

The route ends at the Freshwater rockpool, a family-friendly spot popular for swimming and surfing. Freshwater Beach itself is known for its clean sands and relaxed vibe, making it a perfect place to unwind after your walk.

Parking is available at the South Curl Curl rockpool carpark, Freshwater / Harbord Headland, and along Lumsdaine Dr.
