ABOUT THIS BEACH
Delwood Beach is a small, rocky beach tucked just around the corner from the Manly Ferry, accessible via the scenic Spit to Manly Walk. While it’s not ideal for swimming- especially for little kids - due to the rocky shoreline, the underwater terrain creates excellent opportunities for snorkelling enthusiasts eager to explore marine life close to shore.
Beyond the water, Delwood offers beautiful green grassy areas and shaded benches that make it a lovely spot for picnics, relaxing, or simply soaking up the peaceful coastal vibes. This beach is also dog-friendly, so your furry friends can enjoy the fresh air and open space alongside you.
Because of its size and rocky nature, Delwood remains a quiet, less crowded spot popular with locals who appreciate its natural charm and proximity to the Spit to Manly coastal walk.
