About this walk...

The Dee Why to Curl Curl Headland walk is about 2.5 kilometres along some beautiful coastal cliffs. You start at the southern end of Dee Why Beach and follow a mix of boardwalks, dirt tracks, and stone steps that wind around the headland. It’s a nice easy walk with plenty of spots to stop and take in the views - you’ll see the ocean stretching out to Long Reef up north and all the way down to Manly in the south.

Along the way, the native coastal plants are doing their thing - think banksias and the usual birdlife you’d expect, like kookaburras and lorikeets. The path takes you through some protected bushland too, so it’s a peaceful break from the busy beaches.

You’ll finish at North Curl Curl Beach, where you can chill out, jump in the ocean pool, or grab a coffee nearby. Parking can get tricky on weekends, so if you’re driving, try to get there early or consider catching a bus.
